Is it because of this news that it dropped???? After reading it, I rolled my eyes 🙄
Let me interpret it: the market dropping roughly means—META selling computing power = META exiting AI = big tech exiting AI = AI is garbage... The narrative is over... Is that the logic?
I'll break it down for you; anyone who finished elementary school should know the above formula doesn't hold, right?
How should I put it? The market is a coward, always afraid of things that don't exist, with ghost stories popping up every few days. How many times has this happened in the past year? Of course, the most normal interpretation should be that META, under pressure from capital expenditures, was forced to sell computing power to make financial data look better. This is very normal; Meta is not the first to do this—Musk already sold computing power long ago. Have you noticed that those selling computing power are all players without much competitiveness in the AI track? In fact, this is just a business choice. If my AI has no future, why not rent out my computing power? That's the situation, and look how scared Wall Street got.
If you ask me, it's still that the gains were too good. Even if the broader market didn't perform well in June, storage, computing power, and semiconductors still rose a lot. A dip is just a rest.
If you haven't boarded the storage train, please take this opportunity to get on. Once this adjustment ends, it will be a new pole vault.
Discord is in the profile. Buy the dip, hold long-term.
