US official: US will station troops in Lebanon and Israel to monitor ceasefire

Jinse Finance reports, on July 1, according to CCTV, an unnamed U.S. official stated that the United States will station ground forces in both Lebanon and Israel to directly oversee the operations of the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Israel Defense Forces. The U.S. can thus exert necessary pressure on both Lebanon and Israel to ensure they fulfill their commitments under the U.S.-Israel-Lebanon trilateral framework agreement. U.S. Central Command Commander General Michael "Erik" Kurilla (Brad Cooper) will not directly supervise the two sides, but Central Command officials will be responsible for reporting any violations of the agreement to the White House for handling.
