The General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs carry out the selection of typical application scenarios of robots in the agricultural field.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly launched the 2026 selection of typical robot application scenarios in the agricultural sector. Focusing on three priority areas—planting, breeding, and primary processing of agricultural products—this effort will target key links including seedling cultivation and propagation, tillage and land preparation, sowing and transplanting, field management, and harvesting; as well as feeding, propagation, collection of livestock and poultry products, resource utilization and harmless treatment of waste; and key stages such as primary processing and storage of agricultural products. A batch of typical robot application scenarios will be solicited and selected that are technologically advanced, highly mature, deliver clear results, have broad application prospects, and can be replicated and promoted. It will also strengthen promotion and application. (MIIT)
