Gate has not only secured the MiCA (crypto asset) license in the EU—an achievement that has drawn widespread attention—but even more impressively, it has also obtained a PI (payment institution) license. This is extremely valuable.

This means Gate has fully opened up a bidirectional compliance channel between fiat and Crypto in Europe. While other companies are still worrying about how to solve the bottleneck problem with deposit and withdrawal cards, Gate is already able to “drive legally at full speed” across the entire European Economic Area with the Gate Card and fiat channels. This compliance-first setup really shows the mindset of building a long-term, large-scale platform.
