Hong Kong stocks closed with the Hang Seng Index down 1.43% and the Hang Seng Tech Index down 1.63%. The Hang Seng Index Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF Yinhua (159318) fell 1.64%, and the Hang Seng Index Hong Kong Stock Connect Technology ETF Penghua (159751) fell 1.41%. By sector, passenger airlines and industrial conglomerates led the gains, while metals and mining, and energy equipment and services led the declines.
