Circle co-founder Jeremy Allaire said consortium stablecoins like OUSD may struggle because stablecoin networks depend on network effects and liquidity. Allaire said multi-party alliance structures can face slow decision-making, misaligned incentives, and weaker long-term execution. He said Circle will keep working with institutions and stablecoin issuers while advancing CCTP and CPN.
