Jinse Finance reported that on July 1, UBS analysts wrote in a report to clients that ASML may raise its outlook again this year when it releases its second-quarter results on July 15. The Dutch semiconductor equipment supplier expects sales to be between 36 billion and 40 billion euros this year. Analysts said that with growing demand for chip-making equipment, the group may raise its forecast to the upper end of this range, or possibly slightly above it. ASML expects a gross margin between 51% and 53%, a closely watched indicator of pricing power and profitability. Analysts said they see room for a modest upward revision toward the upper end of the range. ASML shares rose 0.5% to 1,729 euros.
