June Electric Vehicle Scorecard: Leapmotor clinches the sales crown among new energy brands again, Harmony Smart Mobility deliveries rebound to 50,000+, NIO and Xpeng exceed 40,000, and Xiaomi delivers 30,000 vehicles

On July 1, China's major new energy vehicle brands released their first-half results, with overall year-on-year growth continuing. However, from an annual target perspective, none of the brands that disclosed their targets achieved a completion rate exceeding 50%, with most falling between 30% and 40%.

In June, Leapmotor led the new car-making forces with global deliveries of 93.38k units, a year-on-year increase of 95%, setting a new monthly record for the brand. NIO and XPeng delivered 40.6k units (up 62.9% year-on-year) and 40.13k units (up 15.9% year-on-year), respectively, both surpassing the 40k-unit mark. Harmony Intelligent Mobility returned to the "50k+" camp with 50.62k units, while Li Auto recorded a year-on-year and month-on-month decline with 30.9k units.

From the first-half completion rate perspective, NIO's approximately 41.9% completion rate is the only one among the disclosed target brands to exceed 40%. Li Auto's rate is about 39.68%, requiring an average monthly delivery of over 49k units in the second half to meet the target. XPeng and Xiaomi both have completion rates of around 30%.

Leapmotor Leads, Exports Become a Growth Highlight

Among the new car-making forces, Leapmotor continues to hold a leading position. On July 1, Leapmotor announced global deliveries of 93,376 units in June, a 95% year-on-year increase, once again setting a new monthly sales record for the brand. In terms of exports, the monthly export volume reached 21k units, accounting for about 22% of the total.

Zhu Jiangming, founder, chairman, and CEO of Leapmotor, revealed that the C series achieved global monthly sales of over 30k units, the D19 cumulative deliveries approached 20k units, the A10 once again achieved monthly deliveries of over 20,000 units in June, and the B series will be relaunched in July.

In the first half of this year, Leapmotor's cumulative global deliveries reached 356.49k units, of which nearly 100k were exported overseas, already exceeding last year's total export volume. Based on the annual sales target of 1 million units, the first-half completion rate is about 35.6%, still a significant gap from the target.

On the product side, Leapmotor's new C10, new C11, and new C16 were relaunched on June 16, further optimizing intelligence, comfort, and practical experience to meet diverse family travel needs. Leapmotor's first flagship MPV, the D99, was officially launched on June 25, achieving comprehensive upgrades in space layout, driving performance, range capability, and safety system, setting a new benchmark for flagship MPVs.

NIO's Three-Brand Matrix Drives Growth, Completion Rate Leads Peers

NIO delivered 40,597 new cars in June, a new monthly high since the start of the year, with a year-on-year increase of 62.9%. All three brands achieved double-digit growth: the NIO brand delivered 21.91k units (up 50.1% year-on-year), the Onvo brand delivered 11.74k units (up 83.5% year-on-year), and the Firefly delivered 6,946 units (up 76.7% year-on-year).

In the first half of the year, NIO delivered a total of 191,123 units, a year-on-year increase of 67.4%, with all three brands setting new historical highs for first-half deliveries. Based on the annual target range of 456.4k to 489k units, the completion rate is about 41.9%, making it the fastest-progressing among the major new energy brands.

XPeng, Li Auto, Xiaomi: Different Rhythms

XPeng delivered 40,126 units in June, a year-on-year increase of 15.9%, moving up one spot to third place. In the second quarter, cumulative deliveries reached 103.3k units. The XPeng GX achieved monthly deliveries of 6,739 units in June and welcomed its 10kth vehicle off the assembly line on July 1. In the first half of the year, XPeng accumulated deliveries of 165.98k units, with a completion rate of about 30.2% based on the annual target of 550k to 600k units.

Li Auto delivered 30,895 units in June, recording a year-on-year and month-on-month decline, dropping one spot in ranking.

In Li Auto's current sales structure, the pure electric model i6 is the主力, while the new L9 and L8 are still in the early stages of production ramp-up and delivery, which to some extent dragged down overall sales performance. In the second quarter, Li Auto delivered a total of 98.33k units, at the upper end of the guidance range of 95k to 100k units. In the first half of the year, cumulative deliveries were 193.5k units, with a completion rate of about 39.68% based on the annual target of approximately 487.6k units. The remaining months require an average monthly delivery of over 49,000 units to meet the annual task.

Xiaomi Auto's June deliveries continued to exceed 30k units, with first-half cumulative deliveries surpassing 169k units. Based on the annual target of 550k units, the current completion rate is about 30.7%.

Harmony Intelligent Mobility Returns to "50k+", Other Brands Continue to Diverge

For new brands created by traditional car companies, Harmony Intelligent Mobility delivered 50,624 units in June, a month-on-month increase of 9.7%, returning to the "50k+" sales camp. The AITO M6 achieved over 30k deliveries in 54 days of listing, the Shangjie Z7 series exceeded 10,000 monthly deliveries in June, and the new AITO M9 began mass delivery on June 16, with over 8,000 units delivered in two weeks.

In the first half of the year, Harmony Intelligent Mobility accumulated deliveries of approximately 240k units, a year-on-year increase of 18.6%, but compared to the million-unit annual target, the completion rate is less than 20%, making it the most prominent gap among major brands.

Voyah Automobile delivered 14,223 units in June 2026, a year-on-year increase of 41%.

In June, Zeekr delivered 35,169 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 111%; from January to June, it delivered a total of 178,370 units, a year-on-year increase of 97%.

SAIC Motor announced on July 1 that total vehicle sales in June 2026 were 394.8k units, a year-on-year increase of 8.07%. From January to June 2026, the company's cumulative sales were 2.05M units, a year-on-year decrease of 0.35%.

Arcfox announced its sales data for June 2026. In June, Arcfox sold 25,646 units, a year-on-year increase of 219.3%, setting a new monthly sales record for the brand. In the first half of this year, Arcfox accumulated deliveries of 80,581 units, a year-on-year increase of 65.88%.

IM Motors announced that from January to June 2026, it delivered 40,087 units, a year-on-year increase of 58%.
