US President Donald Trump has about 10 days to decide whether to sign bipartisan housing legislation that would bar the Federal Reserve from issuing or creating a CBDC until the end of 2030. The House of Representatives passed the bill last week, and House Speaker Mike Johnson reportedly sent it to Trump's desk on Monday. Trump canceled the signing ceremony on Wednesday and said Republicans should prioritize the SAVE America Act. The Senate is expected to return by July 13 with about four weeks to address the CLARITY Act before another state work period in August.
