Gate is really generous. The stock transfer function is now live, with no platform fees for transferring in or out of Gate.

Even more importantly, stocks held at external brokers can be transferred into Gate, which shows that Gate is dealing with real stocks, not stock tokens.

This time, cross-broker transfers are supported for U.S. and Hong Kong stocks. Stocks you hold at other brokers can be transferred into Gate, and stocks you hold at Gate can also be transferred out to other brokers.

U.S. stocks use the DTC system, while Hong Kong stocks use the CCASS system, with the FOP transfer method. The entire process generally takes 3-15 business days, depending on the efficiency of both brokers and market clearing.

The operation process is simple. In the Gate App, go to "More" - "Common Functions" - "Transfer In Stocks / Transfer Out Stocks", select the U.S. or Hong Kong stock market, and fill in the broker information, stock code, quantity, and other details.

If you are transferring into Gate, you need to first contact the original broker to initiate the transfer; if you are transferring out of Gate, fill in the receiving broker's information.

Additionally, Gate has also introduced a limited-time transfer subsidy this time.

From July 1 to July 7, if you successfully submit a transfer application for U.S. or Hong Kong stocks, and the transferred value is above 3,000 USDT, and you provide the original broker's transfer fee voucher, you can apply for the subsidy.

The maximum subsidy for U.S. stock transfers is 15,000 USDT, and for Hong Kong stock transfers it is 6,000 USDT. You can also get a VIP level upgrade, up to VIP 9.

I think Gate's stock business is no longer just about "being able to buy U.S., Hong Kong, and Korean stocks," but is improving the entire account system, continuously providing convenience to users.

It now supports over 10,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, over 1,500 Hong Kong stocks, and over 1,000 Korean stocks, totaling more than 12,500 global stocks and ETFs. Combined with unified accounts, USDT trading, fractional shares, VIP rates, and stock transfers, the cost for users to manage crypto assets and traditional stock assets will be much lower.

For those who already have USDT and want to allocate to U.S. and Hong Kong stocks, following me and choosing Gate is the one-stop solution.
