Walsh's speech may boost the U.S. dollar, with ING expecting the dollar index to recover to the 101.7-101.8 range.

Mars Finance News, according to Jinshi Data, Chris Turner of ING Group said in a report that if Federal Reserve Chairman Warsh focuses on price stability when speaking at the European Central Bank forum in Sintra, Portugal, the US dollar should remain firm. In his first meeting as Fed chairman in June, Warsh emphasized the need to bring inflation back to the 2% target. Turner expects that, influenced by Warsh's remarks, the US Dollar Index may return to the range of 101.7-101.8.
