Hengrui Medicine: Withdrawal of Aimaxitinib Ointment Drug Registration Application

Hengrui Pharmaceutical’s announcement: Recently, the company received the “Notice of Termination of Drug Registration Application” issued by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), agreeing to the company’s withdrawal of its drug registration application for Imaxitinib ointment. In February 2025, the company submitted a marketing authorization application for Imaxitinib ointment to the NMPA Center for Drug Evaluation and the application was accepted. As the drug requires further improvement of the submission materials, after communicating with the NMPA Center for Drug Evaluation, the company decided to withdraw its registration application.
