Starting today, semiconductors begin the second wave of price hikes.
On July 1, the global semiconductor industry ushered in a new round of price adjustment window.
On June 30, Xinlian Integration sent a letter to customers stating that due to rising costs, coupled with the explosion in demand for AI, new energy, etc., the company's production capacity continues to be tight; in order to continuously ensure product quality and supply stability, it decided to adjust product prices in the third quarter of 2026, with an adjustment range of 15% to 25%, which is also the company's second round of price increases this year.
Earlier, Star Semiconductor, Yangjie Technology, and Silan Micro also issued price increase notices to customers, all of which were also the second round of price increases this year.
For example, Star Semiconductor stated that due to the price increase of materials such as wafer manufacturing, bulk metals, and packaging, the company's product manufacturing costs have continued to increase significantly. As the pressure of multiple cost increases continues to accumulate, the current cost pressure has exceeded the scope that can be internally absorbed. The company decided to increase prices for power semiconductor modules and discrete devices such as IGBT and SiC MOSFET starting from July 1, with a price adjustment starting from 15%.
According to public information, from March to April this year, Texas Instruments, MPS (Monolithic Power Systems), STMicroelectronics, and NXP all issued price increase letters, among which AI server power supply products increased by 20% to 85%. Many domestic analog and power device manufacturers followed suit and raised product prices.
According to incomplete statistics by reporters, more than 20 domestic and foreign semiconductor companies issued their first round of price increase letters in the first half of the year.
After Texas Instruments (TI), Infineon, STMicroelectronics (ST) and others issued letters saying they would start a second round of price increases in July, domestic power semiconductor leaders such as Silan Micro, Yangjie Technology, China Resources Microelectronics, and Star Semiconductor all followed suit. Currently, nearly 20 domestic and foreign companies have announced price increases.
