Recently, Loongson Technology and Chengdu Guanghangxin Technology Co., Ltd. have successfully developed the first fully domestically produced FC SAN switch. The device is equipped with a LoongArch-based processor, which not only breaks the long-standing foreign technology monopoly and enables independent and controllable operation across the industrial chain, but also strengthens the national network security defense line for key industries, providing underlying security support for storage networks of various core businesses. The FCSAN switch is designed for key business data storage and switching networks, and can meet scenarios such as virtualized and cloud-based storage. The device supports high-speed transmission of 16/32Gbps, with switching latency of no more than 350ns. A single unit offers 24/48/96 port configuration options, and the maximum aggregated bandwidth of the full system covers 384-1536 Gbit/sec. The product supports continuous uninterrupted operation in wide temperature environments up to 50℃, and also features low power consumption. Compared with imported equipment with the same specifications, the product delivers doubled performance and a significantly reduced overall cost. As a new starting point for cooperation, Loongson Technology and Guanghangxin signed a cooperation agreement in Chengdu. The two parties will fully leverage their respective technological and resource advantages, adhere to the development path of independent and controllable core technologies, deepen their focus on the FC switching field, and comprehensively strengthen underlying storage data security protection capabilities.
