Can contracts still make you rich? After 90% of people got liquidated, I uncovered these little-known truths!
I tell you, it's definitely possible, but there are wins and losses; you can't expect every trade to go smoothly. You'll encounter various issues along the way—it depends on how you handle them. Let me share four contract trading methods that might help you.
The first is swing trading, a fast-in, fast-out approach. These trades need to be based on market fluctuations and won't work anytime. The profit depends on the momentum of market bounces or pullbacks, and entry points are crucial—most importantly, your mindset.
The second is short-term range trading, which involves going long and short within a range. For example, if the resistance above is 8000 and the support below is 7800, then based on market movement, you take counter-trades when price hits resistance or support first, capturing range profits. These trades take longer than swing trades and require some market feel—it's a strategy for ranging markets.
The third type is short-term and medium-term trades; short-term trades yield up to 500 points, medium-term up to 2000 points. This requires predicting market trends combined with technical analysis for effective execution. Risk control is essential—position size shouldn't exceed 30% of account funds. When the market is unstable but the short-term range is clear, you can go with a light position.
The fourth type is long-term trades. Long-term trades aren't suitable for everyone—you need sufficient account funds, around 50,000U to try. The entry position should be 10-20% of account funds. You must manage the psychological changes that come with holding positions long-term. Many examples show that short-term trend fluctuations can disrupt the overall plan. For long-term trades, I recommend playing it safe. In the current market with short-term downward trends, there's no need to enter. The market's bullish or bearish trend is no longer suitable for holding.
