On June 30, it was reported that South Korea's financial regulatory authorities and the Korea Exchange are finalizing a reform proposal for the KOSDAQ market, with the development of a dedicated core index system for leading sectors as a key focus. They are soliciting opinions from the market. Relevant departments are advancing the introduction of an upgrade and downgrade system, intending to reclassify the KOSDAQ market into three main categories: selected sectors, standard sectors, and management sectors.
