Brazilian women’s cryptocurrency participation rate has nearly tripled in six years, and now accounts for nearly 30% of transaction count.

Shenchao TechFlow news, July 1 – According to the latest report from the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (RFB), the participation rate of women in cryptocurrency transactions in Brazil has surged from 11.34% in 2019 to 29.96% in December 2025, nearly tripling over six years, and even reached a historical peak of 40.95% in January 2024. However, the proportion of transaction value by female investors has lagged significantly, standing at only 12.88% in 2025, roughly flat compared to 2019, indicating that the average transaction size for women remains lower than that of men. Meanwhile, Brazil launched the cryptocurrency asset reporting system (DeCripto) in 2025 and will enforce monthly reporting starting July 1, 2026, with multiple female practitioners and civil servants participating in the development of the relevant regulations.
