The Ministry of Commerce held a routine press conference on the 25th.
A reporter asked, "Recently, Japanese business figures have been visiting China one after another. Has China adjusted its attitude toward exchanges with Japanese business figures? What expectations does China have for Japanese enterprises?"
Ministry of Commerce spokesperson He Yadong stated that China continues to expand high-level opening-up, creating a first-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized, engaging in mutually beneficial economic and trade exchanges and cooperation with all countries to share development opportunities. Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi made erroneous remarks regarding Taiwan, severely damaging the political foundation of Sino-Japanese relations and bringing serious negative impacts to Sino-Japanese economic and trade cooperation. It is hoped that the Japanese business community, out of its own interests, will urge the Japanese government to genuinely reflect and correct its mistakes, creating conditions for the bilateral economic and trade cooperation to return to a healthy development track.
