Chainalysis released a proposal for an Address Clustering Ontology to standardize on-chain fund tracking for law enforcement and investigators. The framework separates transaction graph structure from inferred confidence levels. Jacob Illum said on-chain analysis cannot directly identify end-user identities without legal investigative methods tied to centralized entities such as exchanges.
