Golden Finance reported that on July 1, local time on June 30, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu praised Israel’s “military achievements in recent years” in an interview with Israel’s Channel 14, but said that Israel’s fighting is “never-ending” and that “there is still a long way to go” in confronting Iran and its allies. Netanyahu said in the interview that Israel had achieved “great success” along the fronts against Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah in Lebanon, but then added, “The war will never end”—he emphasized that only by maintaining strong military strength can one survive in the geopolitical environment of the Middle East and even the world. And Israel is “stronger than ever before,” having “successfully repelled and greatly weakened the relevant security threats,” but still “needs to carry out subsequent military missions.” When asked about Middle East geopolitical shifts and which countries Israel might reach peace agreements with in the future, Netanyahu refused to disclose the specific countries, saying only that he is “in contact with multiple countries,” and stressing that “only when it keeps itself strong will other countries align with it and achieve peace.” (CCTV International News)
