Shenchao TechFlow News: On June 30, according to TechCrunch, Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced the establishment of a new “Forward-Deployed Engineers (FDE)” organization, allocating about $1 billion in resources to accelerate the deployment and rollout of AI agents for enterprise customers. Currently, OpenAI and Anthropic have also launched similar FDE cooperation arrangements, partnering with private firms to set up programs worth approximately $4 billion and $1.5 billion, respectively, to help drive the expansion of enterprise-grade AI applications.

AWS said the new team will be directly embedded within customer enterprises to help build and deploy customized AI systems, and to enable enterprises to achieve “autonomous capability enhancement” as they use them. In addition to delivering solutions, it will also help customers develop the capability to continuously build AI applications.
