Reading history reveals a pattern: people destined for great things, in their low points, can mooch off others or loaf around, but they will never take up jobs like tightening screws, waiting tables, or hauling steel bars. Even if they work, they must choose jobs that are easy and free. Planning big moves requires long periods of contemplation. Those who are physically and mentally exhausted and numb in the brain cannot think about anything.
