Manila Water assured East Zone customers of continuous water supply despite reduced allocation from Angat Dam due to El Niño. The National Water Resources Board lowered the allocation to 48 cubic meters per second from the usual 52 CMS as the water level neared the critical level of 160 meters. Despite this, Manila Water maintained that customers could expect a steady supply and normal water pressure.
