China’s total installed power generation capacity has crossed a major threshold and surpassed 4.01 billion kilowatts (4010 GW), firmly remaining #1 in the world.


It is the world’s first country to build power reserves exceeding 4 billion kilowatts, with a total that goes beyond the combined figures of the six major economies—the United States, the European Union, India, Japan, Russia, and South Korea.
