200k U down to 5000U in two months: It's not the market being harsh, it's self-destruction $BTC

A guy came to me at 1 PM, first sentence was "Mei Jie, I'm done."

I opened his account and saw that 200k U was almost drained, leaving only 5000U.

To be honest, this really isn't a market issue—it's completely a matter of poor execution.

He went all in on SHIB at a high with 10x leverage, dead set on doubling his money.

The market pulled back slightly, and he got liquidated one layer. The more it dropped, the more he added; the more he added, the more he got trapped.

He kept thinking it would bounce back immediately, and ended up holding all the way down to near zero. $RE
What's worse, he was making dozens of trades a day, constantly churning.

Before he even lost much principal, the fees had already eaten away half.

Seeing others post about 100x coins, he'd get emotional and blindly chase shitcoins or hot trends.

Wake up the next morning, and his account was cut in half, then halved again.

Later, I told him to stop everything and only do three things. That's when his state slowly started to recover.

First, only trade high-probability setups, don't gamble on small fluctuations.

No more blindly trading based on 1-minute candles. Only enter on major-level breakouts.

If there's no opportunity, stay in cash. Better to miss out than to trade recklessly.

Second, cap your position size; only add after making a profit.

The first trade should be strictly within 10% of your capital—small position to test the waters.

Only add gradually after you're in profit. Once the gain reaches a certain amount, take some off the table.

Use a trailing stop for the rest, letting the profits run on their own.

Third, a firm rule on stop losses—never hold onto a losing position.

Every trade must have a stop loss when entered. If you lose 5%, exit unconditionally.

If you lose two trades in a row, stop trading for the day. Don't fight your emotions.

To turn things around in this market, the first step is always: survive first.

Every trade must be clear—know where you lost, know what you gained.

Once your rhythm is off, no market strength can save you.

The next opportunity isn't far off. Only those who can stick to discipline will get results.
