10 years ago, my startup failed and I owed 300k RMB.

That period was really tough—every time my phone rang, it was a debt collector, and the first thing I did when I opened my eyes wasn't figuring out how to make money, but how to plug yet another hole.
Later, I stumbled into the crypto space by accident. At first, I was just gambling—buying high, selling low, knowing nothing, losing fast. But that's how it is with people: only after many falls do you start to reflect.
After much trial and error, I finally summed it up in one sentence: Trading isn't about intelligence—it's about having a system.
Now, I mainly focus on four things: coin selection, entry, position sizing, and exit.
Coin selection is simple—I ignore the flashy stuff and focus on the daily chart structure. Has the trend formed? Is volume following? Then I check the MACD status. I pay extra attention to golden crosses above the zero line, because that signals continuation, not just a rebound.
For entries, I've actually become more conservative. I only act after the price has firmly held a key moving average or clearly formed a structure. If there's no clear pattern, I'd rather miss it than gamble on it early.
Position sizing is the most overlooked but also the most critical. No matter how good an opportunity looks, I never go all-in. The crypto space never lacks opportunities—what it lacks is whether you'll survive long enough to see the next one.
Exits are the same: set rules in advance. Take profits in batches when targets are hit, and exit decisively when the structure breaks. Many people can make money, but they can't hold onto it.
One last realistic point: No method can be right forever. Mistakes will happen—cut losses when you should, don't stubbornly hold.
What truly separates people in this market isn't how many times you're right, but how little you lose when you're wrong, and whether you can hold a bit more when you're right.
If you can do that, you've already beaten most people.
Trading isn't that mystical—what matters most is surviving.
