Super heat wave sweeps Europe, Chinese air conditioners 'hard to find'

As a super heat wave sweeps across the European continent, local air conditioning equipment is seeing a sales boom. Recently, temperatures in western France rose to 43°C, setting the record for the highest temperature in June in France's recorded history; on June 25, temperatures in southwest England reached 36.7°C, setting the record for the highest June temperature in the UK; on the 25th, news from Spain's National Meteorological Agency showed that during this heat wave, the average daily temperature in the Iberian Peninsula region set a record high for June in recorded history. In Europe, due to the relatively low penetration rate of air conditioning, the persistent heat has not only caused multiple deaths but also disrupted power supplies and forced school closures. Under the heat wave, consumers and businesses across Europe are snapping up portable and fixed air conditioners. Demand for air conditioner manufacturers such as Midea's PortaSplit air conditioners has surged, orders are booming, and the price on the second-hand market is even higher than that of new products.
