The NHL draft concluded Friday night with the Toronto Maple Leafs selecting Penn State winger Gavin McKenna as the first overall pick. McKenna, an 18-year-old, impressed with 15 goals and 51 points in 35 games for the Nittany Lions. The draft also saw several trades, including the Philadelphia Flyers acquiring a first-round pick from the Arizona Coyotes.
