Samsung Electro-Mechanics Wins an AI Server Capacitor Contract Worth 454 Billion Won from a U.S. Customer

Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced on Tuesday that it has signed a contract worth 454 billion won (approximately $293 million) with a U.S. customer to supply multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) for its artificial intelligence (AI) servers. Samsung Electro-Mechanics stated that the contract is valid from January 2027 to December 2027. The company did not disclose the customer's identity, citing a confidentiality agreement.
