Mars Finance News: The economic lab of fintech company Ramp has released the latest version of the Ramp AI Adoption Index Report. Based on spending data analysis from over 70k U.S. enterprise clients, in terms of enterprise-level AI adoption rates, Anthropic grew by 2.5 percentage points to 41%, officially surpassing OpenAI, which slightly declined to 39.5%, establishing a leading position in the commercial application sector. The report focuses on the spending trends of top-tier companies that "deeply adopt AI." Data shows that the top 1% of companies spend up to $7,449 per employee per month on AI, and this figure still achieved a 14.1% increase last month; in comparison, the top 10% of companies spend $611 per person per month, while the median company spends only $11.38 (approximately the cost of a single basic subscription). Additionally, the study points out that companies deeply applying AI do not exhibit "vendor lock-in," and generally adopt multiple cutting-edge large models, open-source platforms, and vertical AI solutions simultaneously. Although companies are beginning to try more cost-effective models (such as DeepSeek) under cost pressure, overall AI spending remains on an upward trend.
