The core mechanism for USD1 to maintain its value of $1 is the 100% reserve system.
Its operation principle is straightforward: Minting (issuance): Every time a user deposits $1 worth of fiat currency, the system generates (mints) 1 USD1 on the blockchain.
Burning (redemption): Every time a user returns 1 USD1, the system burns it and returns $1 in fiat currency to the user.
This "one dollar in, one dollar out" mechanism ensures that USD1 maintains a stable 1:1 exchange rate with the US dollar.
