Everyone, good afternoon—
Is it meaningful to enter the crypto space with ten to twenty thousand? I’ll answer directly: it’s very meaningful, especially when you’re young. This amount isn’t large, but it’s enough to let you truly enter the market. You’ll start watching the charts every day, and even a 1%-3% fluctuation will stir your emotions. Small gains excite you, drawdowns make you anxious, and for the first time, you’ll truly feel the “weight of the market.”
More importantly, many people’s real growth often comes from a loss. Losing 30%-50% isn’t necessarily a bad thing—it forces you to start thinking: why did I lose? Then you’ll begin to learn the basics like trends, support and resistance, MACD, and moving averages, rather than just trading on gut feeling.
Once you start reviewing your trades, controlling your position size, and learning to wait, your trading logic will gradually become clearer. This process may take months or a year or two, but it’s a necessary stage.
Back to practical execution, the core principles I’ve summarized over the years are actually very simple:
First, look at the market state before deciding whether to act. Coins with 3%-5% gains are easier to participate in—too low means no momentum, too high risks chasing the top.
Then filter by trading volume. Assets with active capital have room for volatility; avoid low-volume coins if possible.
Check the turnover rate. Too low means no attention, too high might indicate distribution.
Prefer coins with medium market cap—they offer both liquidity and volatility.
Then look at the trend structure: consider entering only when volume is gradually increasing, moving averages are sloping upward, and the price has stabilized.
Finally, combine with the overall market strength, and prioritize coins that are “outperforming the market.”
For small capital, the most important thing isn’t making quick money, but repeatedly doing one right thing: follow the trend, control position, stop loss, take profit.
These are lessons I’ve summarized after paying a lot of tuition. There’s no surefire method in this market—only constantly evolving cognition. Hope this gives you some inspiration. Welcome to exchange ideas.
