Starting July, South Korea is expanding support for small businesses and families. The government is increasing the annual limit for the 'yellow umbrella' subsidy for small businesses to 1.8 billion won (approx. 1.5 million USD) from the current 1.2 billion won. Additionally, parents will be able to take up to two weeks of parental leave starting August, down from the current minimum of one month. However, the sale of overpriced tickets using macros is now prohibited and punishable by law.
