Jinse Finance reported that on June 30, Iranian President Pezeshkian posted on a social media platform on the evening of June 29 local time, saying, “Understanding is a two-way street. If the U.S. side complies with the memorandum of understanding, we will also fulfill our own obligations. In the face of unreasonable arrogance and baseless threats, our stance is: when making decisions, we act with rationality and human dignity; when taking action, we deliver a resolute and fearless counterattack.” Although the U.S. has repeatedly said that it will hold talks with Iran today (June 30) in Doha, the capital of Qatar, to resolve the dispute between the two sides arising from the Strait of Hormuz, and that U.S. President’s special envoy Witkoff and President Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner will fly to Doha, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bagheri emphasized on June 29 local time that Iran will not hold negotiations with the U.S. of any level in the coming days. Bagheri said that Iran will dispatch an expert delegation to Doha, the capital of Qatar, this week to follow up on relevant matters, but the U.S. representatives’ trip to Doha is not related to the Iranian expert delegation’s visit.
