Abstract generation in progress
Jinse Finance reported that on June 30, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson stated that Iran's current top priority is to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding. Regarding Article 10 of the memorandum, which involves the U.S. commitment to allow Iran's oil exports, the U.S. has issued the necessary permits, and Iran is following up on the implementation progress; regarding Article 11, which involves the unfreezing of Iran's frozen assets, the relevant implementation procedures are also advancing. This week, Iran will send a technical delegation to Qatar to consult on the implementation of the memorandum, including Article 11. The spokesperson stated that Iran has not yet started negotiations on the final agreement. According to Article 13 of the memorandum, the prerequisite for initiating negotiations on the final agreement is the commencement and continued implementation of Articles 1, 4, 5, 10, and 11. In addition, the spokesperson emphasized that Iran will not hold any level of negotiations with the United States in the coming days. The visit of the U.S. representative to Qatar has no connection with the trip of Iran's technical delegation; the purpose of the Iranian delegation's visit to Qatar is to follow up on the implementation of the memorandum (including Article 11).
