Deep Tide TechFlow News: On June 29, according to CoinDesk, the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine said that approximately $8.3 million worth of Tether has been transferred to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) wallet pursuant to a court order—marking the first time in Ukraine’s history that seized crypto assets have been actually handed over to state management. The related funds came from a wallet allegedly controlled by a member of an international hacking group, which is accused of causing losses of more than $100 million through data theft, extortion, and money laundering involving high-value assets. At present, this batch of assets remains under seizure administration, and legal forfeiture has not yet been completed.
