Recently, a bunch of followers have been chasing me to ask: How to roll positions with a 1000U small account? Today, I'll lay out the actual operation logic for you. $TAC
Futures trading itself is a way to play small stakes for big returns. Master these few tricks, and 1000U can absolutely roll steadily. $SLX
First, set a hard cap on position size—don't go all in right away. The crypto space never lacks new opportunities. The first step in rolling positions is to keep your position tight: with a 1000U account, enter with at most 200-300U per trade. If the direction is right, consider adding to the position along the trend; if wrong, pull out immediately. $RAVE
Most people lose money not because they misjudged, but because they overloaded their positions. A slight market fluctuation then shatters their mentality.
Only touch trades with maximum certainty; give up on ambiguous opportunities. A trade worth taking must meet several hard criteria: the trend is crystal clear, support and resistance levels are distinct, the risk-reward ratio is at least 2:1, and the stop-loss is set in advance. Being empty is never scary; opening random positions is the root cause of losing everything.
Stop-loss must be ruthless. For a 1000U account, the maximum allowed loss per trade is 50U. Even two or three consecutive losses won't hurt the foundation. But if you lose 300-400U on a single trade, your entire rhythm will be thrown off, and you won't be able to recover.
Lock in profits as soon as you make money. Many people fall because of greed: they can't take a 10% floating profit, then chase 20% and hope for 50%, only to have a pullback wipe out all gains. My first move after making a profit is to halve the position, move the stop-loss to the cost basis, and let the remaining position ride the trend. Only locked-in profits truly belong to you.
Don't miss this crucial step: pocket your gains. When 1000U rolls up to 3000U, first withdraw 500U as profits—hard cash in your wallet gives real peace of mind.
To put it simply, there's no magic to rolling positions. The core is controlling your position, sticking to your stop-loss, and executing without compromise. In the small-account phase, focus on survival first. Once the account is stable, then speed up. When the size grows, just guard your profits.
