The key isn't how much more money you can make in the short term,
but that USDC is entering the custody and settlement system of traditional financial institutions.
USDT wins in crypto liquidity,
USDC wins in compliance and institutional access.
If stablecoins are really going to be the on-chain dollar infrastructure in the future,
then Circle's most important moat is:
whether banks are willing to accept it, and whether institutions dare to use it.
