Strategy announced the launch of the Digital Credit Capital Framework, aimed at enhancing digital credit securities, improving liquidity, maintaining long-term Bitcoin exposure, and supporting long-term shareholder value. The company said that its dollar reserves have increased to $2.55 billion, covering approximately 17.4 months of dividend payments, and will maintain a reserve level of at least 12 months. In addition, Strategy raised the annualized dividend rate on STRC to 12%, established a maximum $1 billion digital credit securities program and a maximum $1 billion MSTR stock repurchase program, and launched a BTC cash-conversion plan that can sell BTC when needed to supplement dollar reserves, pay dividends and interest, or support securities repurchases.

The name “Digital Credit Capital Framework” sounds intimidating, but in practice it’s just a compliant packaging for buying crypto with leverage.

The BTC cash-out plan is phrased in a euphemistic way: “If you really need money, sell your coins—consider your crypto belief “recharge” done here.”

The 12% annualized dividend yield is indeed attractive, but paying dividends in Bitcoin is an interesting move—it's essentially a form of dollar-cost averaging.

Dividend coverage of 17.4 months—this figure is calculated so precisely that it was definitely asked to death in the earnings call.

$1B stock buyback + $1B digital securities—both sides must be strong; the intention to support the stock price is very clear.

STRATEGY’s gameplay is increasingly resembling crypto-native banks, offering interest payments, buybacks, and restaking in one package.
