Reports say Changxin Memory Technologies has signed a memory supply contract with Tencent worth nearly $3 billion.

According to a report citing informed sources, Chinese memory chip manufacturer Changxin Memory (CXMT) has signed a long-term supply agreement worth over 20B yuan (approximately 2.94B US dollars) with Tencent, paving the way for its heavy debut. The agreement covers the supply of DRAM chips for several years, with the term lasting up to three years, while some sources say it could be up to five years. (Wide-angle Observation)
