how it worked:
> he made fake accounts pretending to be famous crypto influencers
> thousands of people followed him
> he sold them a "VIP staking" plan that promised safe, guaranteed profit
> then a second, pricier plan that promised even more
once people sent their crypto, he went silent. $1.4M gone.
he admitted it in court in 2025. the feds got most of the money back, and he gets 3 more years on probation after jail.
