State Council: Promote AI education at all levels to enhance students' AI literacy.

On June 29, the State Council recently issued the “14th Five-Year Plan for Education Development,” making arrangements to step up the construction of an education powerhouse during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The plan proposes to focus on strengthening students’ abilities and overall qualities. It calls for a deeper implementation of quality education. It will improve the science education system, strengthen the cultivation of scientific literacy, critical thinking, and innovation abilities among young people, and reinforce coordinated development of technology education and humanities education. It will promote artificial intelligence education across all school stages, enhance students’ AI literacy, and strengthen their ability to raise and solve problems.
