China and Russia will continue to deepen communication and cooperation to promote the sustained and healthy development of bilateral economic and trade relations.

This meeting in June 2026 has an interesting timeline—AI intellectual property protection should be the main highlight.

China-Russia cooperation in the field of intellectual property is becoming more detailed, covering the entire chain from legislation to enforcement. This type of institutionalized cooperation is much more practical than signing a broad framework.

AI intellectual property really needs to be planned ahead, otherwise there will be a lot of disputes later.
