Reuters reported that China's ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) has signed a long-term agreement worth $3 billion with Tencent.

CXMT is also negotiating cooperation with other Chinese internet companies, including Alibaba Cloud, ByteDance, and Xiaomi.
As of the first quarter of this year, CXMT's DDR5 yield rate still lags behind Western counterparts.
Currently, CXMT operates two 12-inch DRAM fabs in Hefei and one fab in Beijing, with a total monthly production capacity of approximately 300k wafers per month (300k wafers/month).
