Nearly 20 semiconductor companies have started a new round of price hikes.
BlockBeats News: On June 29, according to 21 Finance, nearly 20 global analog and power semiconductor companies are set to launch a new round of price increases on July 1. There have already been multiple batches of stepwise price adjustments this year. Many manufacturers say current order books are full, and production capacity visibility has significantly improved.
Analysts point out that the core driving force behind this round of price increases comes from cost pressure caused by higher wafer foundry and raw material prices, which resonates with the surge in demand for power chips driven by AI data center construction. Market share will become concentrated among leading chip companies that have end-to-end IDM capabilities or are deeply tied to upstream supply chains, and that operate in high-growth, highly favorable sectors.
