The most terrifying thing in a family, is never poverty, nor arguments, but—— people with shallow understanding, yet holding the highest authority. What they believe in, is not understanding and respect, but control and obedience. In their eyes, there are only win/loss, high/low, who can overpower whom. Such people are often stubborn, narrow-minded, with cognition stuck in the past, yet never willing to learn and reflect.
