Jinse Finance reported that on June 28, it was reported that Iran urged the United States on Sunday to set a timetable to push for Israel’s unconditional withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territories under the memorandum of understanding framework for ending the war.

“Ending Israel’s war and military operations against Lebanon, as well as withdrawing from all occupied Lebanese territories, are necessary conditions for reaching a final and sustainable agreement and achieving regional stability,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Baghaei said at a press conference held by the Iranian Students News Agency. He added that Tehran is calling for “determining as soon as possible a timetable for Israel’s unconditional withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territories.” (Jin Shi)
