The problem is that the shape of the Black Manta and the black triangular UFOs often reported by residents look very similar, which is why they are constantly linked.
First, their shape is the same. Triangular UFOs that often appear at night have no sound, no blinking lights, a large black body, and move slowly. Well, the Black Manta is also described that way: triangular wings without a tail, matte black color.
Second, the location. Many triangular UFO sightings are around Nevada, Area 51, Edwards Air Force Base. This perfectly matches the places suspected to be test sites for American black project aircraft. So people think, maybe it's not aliens, but secret planes being tested.
Third, it's easy to cover up. The government has never admitted to having hypersonic stealth aircraft. So if someone records a strange object in the sky, the easiest thing is to call it a UFO so the technology isn't revealed.
So the triangular UFO could indeed be the Black Manta or another stealth aircraft, or it could actually be an unexplained phenomenon. That's why the stories have been mixed together until now.
They say the specifications are:
1. *Primary mission*: Long-range reconnaissance. It’s said to be able to penetrate enemy territory without being detected at all. The speed is insane—Mach 5 or higher, aka hypersonic.
2. *Technology*: A pulse detonation engine that’s rarely used; the body is coated with anti-radar material; and the engine heat is suppressed so it won’t be spotted by infrared satellites.
3. *Does it really exist?*: The AU side of the United States has stayed silent so far—neither admitting nor denying. But many residents claim to have seen a black triangle speeding through the skies of Nevada, California, in the Area 51 region, from the 1980s to today.
So in essence, Black Manta is still a mysterious project. It could really exist, or it could be a combination of the B-2, RQ-180, or other stealth drones.
