Iran says passage through the Strait of Hormuz still needs coordination with the Revolutionary Guards.

Jinse Finance reports that on June 28, according to sources in Iran local time on the 28th, all vessels still need to coordinate with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps when passing through the Strait of Hormuz to ensure navigation safety. The report did not clearly mention who issued the statement. Iran also released recommended shipping lanes: the safest route for vessels entering the Persian Gulf is located south of Iran’s Hormuz Island; vessels leaving the Persian Gulf should take the channel south of Iran’s Larak Island. The report did not mention whether the above arrangements are new route-management measures for the Strait of Hormuz. (CCTV News)
