Today (28th), the first "Xining-Balkan" Central Asia freight train departed from the Shuangzhai Station of China Railway Qinghai-Tibet Group. This cross-border train, loaded with 55 containers of cargo, travels along the Qinghai-Tibet, Lanzhou-Xinjiang, and other main railway lines, crossing through the provinces of Qinghai, Gansu, and Xinjiang. It exits via the Horgos Port, passing through cities such as Almaty in Kazakhstan, and finally arrives at the Agala Station in Turkmenistan, covering a total distance of 5,420 kilometers, with a travel time of about 14 to 15 days. The operation of this train marks another expansion of the cross-border logistics corridor from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to Central Asia, further improving and perfecting Qinghai's international logistics network facing Central and West Asia.
